US Pulls Non-Essential Personnel from Tunisia, Sudan; Marines to Libya, Yemen

The United States has pulled all non-essential personnel from diplomatic missions in Tunisia and Sudan as violent protests continue to sweep through Middle Eastern nations. The evacuate order was given after Sudan’s government said no to an American request to send Special Forces to protect its Khartoum  embassy. The cheap, amateur film “Innocence of Muslims” continues to be the excuse cited for rioting which has reached at least 10 countries. The violence works for Al-Qa’ida, which is fanning the fires, calling for more attacks in virtually every city where an American diplomatic mission is based.  In Lebanon, the army was dispatched to protect locations of American fast-food chains including KFC, Burger King, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut in Sidon and Beirut. On Saturday, one protestor died and 27 security officers were wounded when fighting broke out when a crowd in Tripoli fired into a KFC and Hardees.
