A suspected gas attack by either the Syrian government or Russian jets killed at least 100 people, including eleven children, in Idlib in northwestern Syria, according to a British-based monitoring group. The Syrian army did not comment on the report, but in the past Syrian officials have denied using chemical weapons. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the air strikes caused many people to choke. Human rights groups have accused Syria of using chemical weapons in previous attacks.
