Netanyahu’s Russian Victory

Following a meeting deemed successful by the Israelis, they agreed to establish a “communication mechanism” between their two respective armies.

The Lebanese and Iranian news channels, however, refused to acknowledge Netanyahu’s victory. Instead, they explained that Putin summoned Netanyahu to warn him against violating Syrian sovereignty and threatening Israel not to take any action.

Neither, of course, is true.

Netanyahu was quick to realize the potential danger of a miscommunication between Israel and the Russian forces operating in Syria. He sought to assure Putin of Israel’s good intentions and explain that, as far as Israel is concerned, Moscow’s intervention in Syria could be positive: it may help subdue the Islamic State cells that have been building up on Israel’s northern border.

The Axis’ news outlets refused to come to terms with the situation and began spreading lies.  Their claims were absurd and unconvincing. Their so-called “resistance,” in fact, was aimed at their fellow Arabs. They certainly only strengthened Netanyahu. – Diana Maqled
