The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is emerging as an important market in Singapore’s economic engagement of the Middle East. His Majesty Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of Jordan, visited Singapore in 2019 during his state visit.
Jordan’s economy continues to remain strong at 1.9% GDP growth in 2019. It has a wide range of opportunities for Singapore companies include Agri-business, Infrastructure, Urban Solutions, Tourism and Hospitality, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods and General Trading, Shipping and Logistics, ICT, Banking and Finance, Education and Professional Services.
