Dubai Cinema Transforms for Ramadan

Cinema Akil, in conjunction with Project Chaiwala, has transformed a Dubai theater into a dining majlis (“hall”), serving casual, family-style South Asian cuisine and screening award-winning Arab films. The venue will also host games, talks and performances throughout the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The traditional Iftar meal that ends the daily fast will be served nightly following movie screenings.
