Egypt Opens Two Pyramids to Public

Egypt has opened two ancient pyramids to the public. Located south of the capital, Cairo, the Bent Pyramid of Pharaoh Sneferu is over 4,000 years old. Tourists will now be able to visit two chambers deep inside the structure, as well as enter an adjoining pyramid, possibly meant for Sneferu’s wife, Hetepheres. This is the first time the Bent Pyramid and the adjoining pyramid have been opened to the public since 1965 and 1956, respectively.
