Egypt’s Pride: Mohamed Salah, Rami Malek Listed Among TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People

Egyptian-born soccer sensation Mohamed Salah was named one of TIME Magazine’s most influential people. In a tribute to the 26-year-old-star, television personality John Oliver referred to Salah as “an “iconic figure for Egyptians, Scousers and Muslims the world over.”

Time Magazine also listed recent Oscar-winner and actor Rami Malek, who is of Egyptian descent.
