“There are no mistakes or failures, only lessons”.

Cinderella stories can be easily found all over the internet. This event, however, is meant to allow entrepreneurs, founders-to-be, and founders to learn from the lessons of successful and experienced founders and managers. Each one of our brilliant speakers will share with us a particular story, decision, or an incident that occurred throughout their venture, from which we can learn a lesson, too.

Speakers’ Bios:

1) Omer Keilaf:

Omer Keilaf is the co-founder and CEO of Innoviz Technologies, a leading provider of LiDAR sensing solutions. Mr. Keilaf is helping to enable the mass commercialization of autonomous vehicles and under his leadership, the company has won a program with BMW for the industry’s first series production of autonomous vehicles as well as a number of partnerships with leading Tier 1 solution providers. Prior to co-founding Innoviz, Omer served as an officer in the elite technological unit of the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), 81, and held senior leadership roles in various companies. Omer holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, all from the Tel Aviv University.

2) Dudi Baum:

Serial entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Briatha – A biotech company in stealth mode, founder and CEO of Sckipio – The first semiconductor company to deliver G.Fast and CopperGate – Communication semiconductor company Acquired by Sigma Designs in Oct 2009 for $190M.

Served many years at senior leadership positions as CEO, board member, VP Business Dev, VP Marketing, VP Corporate Development, and before that many years in R&D.

Over 30 years experience in communication industry driving strategies and heavily involved in developing technologies and industry standards.

Raised over $100M for his companies.

Deep expertise in marketing, sales, and business development. Strong relationship with service providers & customers.

3) May Piamenta:

A social entrepreneur from Dimona, May Piamenta, has led multidisciplinary social projects that have won international awards, including projects to promote women and girls, volunteer days with million volunteers around the world, training international organizations and ambassadors, raising funds for children with disabilities, and more. As a result, she noticed the difficulty in recruiting, coordinating, and retaining the volunteers, and on the other hand their satisfaction, involvement, and joy in giving, so she founded Vee – a platform that helps businesses and communities contribute to social and environmental causes.

4) Yaniv Rivlin:

Yaniv is Bird’s Regional General Manager in Israel and a Senior Director in the global company, where he also runs the EMEA Government Partnerships department. Prior to joining Bird, Yaniv gained extensive experience working across sectors. Most recently, Yaniv was a Senior Program Officer for the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, where he built and lead the team that runs the REALITY Experience journeys. The REALITY program invites industry leaders in diverse spaces, such as technology, music, and impact to participate in leadership training in Israel in order to reignite their passion and potential for repairing the world. Yaniv attended the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed the Executive Program at Singularity University. He holds the honor of being a Sauvé Scholar for his exemplary leadership, which offered him the opportunity to complete a one-year residential fellowship at McGill University. Yaniv also received his MPP from Harvard, where he was awarded the Fischman Scholarship. Among other awards, Yaniv was selected to the prestigious list of 40 Under 40 in Israel by TheMarker and as 1 of 10 Israel’s trailblazers by Samsung and Haaretz newspaper.

5) Dr. Carmit Yadin:

A cyber visionary who has spent the past decade working with leading high-tech companies in the cyber industry and uses her past experience as a CISO to best serve and understand the needs of ArcusTeam clients. A seasoned expert in business and marketing in relation to the world of technology.
