Fairmont Dubai, in collaboration with artist Natalie Daghestani, placed in its lobby four unique portraits portraying the late Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktou. Each portrait contains 350,000 individually applied Swarovski Crystals, Swarovski Pearls and Japanese glass crystal beads. Each portrait took 480 hours (three months) to create. Combined, they have nearly 2 million individually installed crystals and beads. The art will be on display in the lobby of the Fairmont Dubai SZR from May 5 through August 21.
