First-ever Egyptian Women Win Prestigious Pulitzer Prize

Associated Press correspondent Maggie Michael, video journalist Maad Al-Zikry and photographer Nariman El-Mofty won the Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting based on their coverage of the ongoing conflict in Yemen and the resulting humanitarian crisis. Michael and Al-Zikry became the first Egyptian women ever to win the prestigious award.
