History of Lebanese Wine

History of Lebanese Wine

Let’s go back to the beginning.

This session is the perfect introduction to wine, Lebanese wine in particular. A mix of history and oenology, this session tells the tale of Bacchus’ beloved elixir and how Lebanon fits into that chronology.

With each stepping-stone of the story, we’ll try Lebanese wines from the classic wineries that were there when it all started and conclude with some of the new, young boutique wineries that have just joined the party.

If you are a group that wants to attend together, please email info@bforbacchus.com for availability information before booking.

What to expect: The session is broken into two parts. Each part is a half-hour presentation followed by a 15-minute tasting with a 15-minute break in between each half. There will be water, wine, and a fun time.

Sponsored by B for Bacchus and Wesley’s Wholesale. Sessions will be held on February 14 and 15, starting at 6 pm, at Wesley’s Wholesale, Camille Chamoun Boulevard, Beirut, Lebanon.

Tickets: Limited to 12 guests/session. No refunds for cancellations.

All empty bottles are donated to Cedar Environmental for recycling.
