On August 20, the Israeli women’s soccer team and the UK’s Chelsea Football Club Women will play a friendly match from 7:30-9:30 pm at Petah Tikva Stadium in central Israel. The match is meant to promote female involvement in soccer and other sports in Israel. The Israeli women’s national team, which is underfunded and struggles to recruit qualified players from a limited pool, has never qualified to reach the Women’s World Cup. Tickets to the match are free
