Israel Wins Under-20 FIBA European Championships

Israel’s under-20 national basketball team won the FIBA European Championships for the second straight year, beating Spain in the final in Tel Aviv by a score of 92-84. Deni Avdija, who led the Israelis in scoring during the tournament, contributed 23 points in the clinching game.
