From the Borscht Belt to “Seinfeld,” humor and self-deprecation have long been embedded into Judaism’s DNA. In this two-part series, Rabbi Shira unpacks historical examples of comedy in Jewish tradition, while Rabbi Aaron explores contemporary Jewish creators and what they reveal about being Jewish today.
