About this Event
This small, interactive, virtual workshop will use a combination of digital presentation, activities, and discussion, to help participants learn about gender and sexual identities, diversity, and inclusion. We will draw from Jewish texts, secular sources, and personal experiences to educate participants about the relevant issues in the Orthodox Jewish community and society at large. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions in a non-judgemental, learning environment, reflect on their positions, and discuss ways to effect positive changes in their own communities.
This is a one-time 2.5-hour workshop that will be held on Zoom at 7 PM Eastern Time on both Saturday (Motzei Shabbat), January 9, and Thursday, February 11. Please register for the date you plan to attend.
