Truth and understanding
The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.
Zoom journey to Tetouan town via Zoom hosted by a local, Abir. She is the only female guide in this ancient white town.
Salamo alaïkom! My name is Abir and I’m 26 years old. It has been always my dream to host international guests in my hometown Tetouan, and my homeland, Morocco. That’s why I learned English literature at the university and became the only female guide in my town. I love meeting new people and share my passion and knowledge about Moroccan culture and day-to-day life.
What you’ll do [virtually via Zoom]:
- We’ll walk through ancient streets of our white town of Tetouan surrounded by the large walls with 7 gates
- You’ll see Spanish neighborhood and the Feddan Square
- I will take you to the local market which we call here ‘souk’
- You’ll hear stories about the everyday life of the locals, Moroccan culture as well as the history of our town and the country
