The transformation of Arab society by the Prophet Muhammad started his mission in a strictly tribal society, where the motto was that a person is a mere number in his/her tribe. Yet without a tribe, they were unsafe, even in their own home. The Prophet remolded the Arab society into one coherent unit, in which a person had a great value.
Dr Adil Salahi will explore answers to some of these questions. What measures did the Prophet take to accomplish such a transformation? Did the old divisions, on a tribal basis, completely disappear? Or did it go through a change of direction, and in what way?
