Saudi Arabia Wins Gold, Bronze at European Physics Olympiad

The Saudi Arabian team won gold and bronze medals at the European Physics Olympiad (EUPHO) 2019, in Riga, Latvia, which ran from May 31 to June 4. EUPHO is an international contest for high school students, first held in 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia, and then in Moscow a year later.  This was the first time Saudi Arabia participated in EUPHO, which hosted teams from 26 other countries.
