For the first time, women were allowed to participate in Saudi Arabia’s annual Souq Okaz Festival. The women – elite equestrians from various Arab countries – took part in an event called “Forsan Okaz” (Knights of Okaz), during which they rode horses alongside men. The 13th edition of the event runs until the end of August.
