About the topic: How to Revitalize the Economy Coming Out of Corona. Throughout this difficult period focus has been placed upon coronavirus, and not enough attention has been paid to vital economic planning. Furthermore, 70 % of all unemployed are women who are being hit hardest. What can we do to start planning now for when the economy will be able to fully function again? We cannot wait anymore to address this vital need.
About our speaker. Michal Shir-Segman was a Member of Knesset for the Likud party from 2019 to 2020 serving as a member of the Knesset Finance Committee, the Interior Committee and as an alternate member of the Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee. In 2007 Michal founded and served as the CEO of the Israeli Center for Political Training which is the first institution in Israel to provide professional training for working in parliament and government. Michal also previously served as a campaign manager for New Hope Chairman and Former Minister of Education and the Interior, Mr. Gideon Saar (2003-2006-2009), Served as the Spokeswoman for the Knesset House Committee (2003), developed and managed the Media Center for Current Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu (2001), and has been a leading political consultant to leaders since 2009.
