Turquoise Club for Women and Girls

The Turquoise Club in Damascus, Syria is for women and girls of all ages. It provides a safe space for self-expression where we can hold discussions about the stories, problems and concerns of our lives. The club helps women and girls create new social relationships; express their talents and skills (in drawing, poetry, music, writing thoughts, arts of all kinds, manual work of all kinds, general social skills); and exchange experiences and knowledge. The club meets every Monday from 10 to 11:30 am. There is a per session fee of 1,200 Syrian pounds. The club is operated by SPS – Rock Paper Scissors Psychosocial Support and Community Services. For more information, call +963 965 509 839.
