Whale Valley Camping Trip

The camping trip, operated by Free Horizon, will be on January 25-26.

Wadi Al-Hitan (Whale Valley) Reserve, Fayoum, Egypt, is the best place to observe the stars and our arm of the Milky Way galaxy. The stars in this place appear more clearly and luminously than anywhere else in Egypt. The place is far from light sources, there is no communication network, and nothing but the way the earth looked before urbanization and technology. We will take the most beautiful pictures of the stars and the galaxy arm with people who love astronomy. The geography of this place is very distinctive. Geologists say that millions of years ago, Whale Valley was at the bottom of the ocean. Fossils of marine creatures, the largest of which is the basilosaurus, have been discovered. The valley is classified as a World Heritage Area and is supervised by UNESCO due to its geological importance and distinctive nature.

The cost of the trip is 360 pounds for Egyptians and 600 pounds for foreigners. It includes:

Wadi Al-Hitan is a nature reserve, a world heritage area, and a place for the protection of wildlife.
