Massoud Hayoun’s decolonial memoir of his Jewish Arab grandparents from Tunisia, Egypt, and Morocco provides a political theory of Arabness across time and continents. In a fireside chat with Professor Sahar Aziz, Mr. Hayoun will address the continuities between European colonial policy in the Middle East and the criminalization of Arab and Muslim communities in the U.S.
