YAROH Voice for COVID-19

“Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.” – Quran 2:286

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases.

Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.

Fear is a natural response when people read about millions of people locked down in China. Yet it’s also true that, right now, the individual risk to people is very small.

So is it time to panic? Certainly, NO!

Nearly every day brings word of more cases, in more countries. Calm Down! That’s news.

It’s possible to say suddenly we’ll have 20 or 30 cases from one particular place in Pakistan. People should expect that, but people should not be overly concerned about that in terms of fear.

Besides constantly reminding people about the basics of the disease, the fight now is to mitigate, keep the health care system working, and don’t panic.

YAROH is a student-based welfare NGO working for the betterment of society and the education of underprivileged children.

YAROH intends to reduce the fear of frightened people. Let’s unite and help us to spread calm in times of anxiety.

Our aim is to share the message of:

Come and join us at 48 A-2 Johar Town in Lahore, Pakistan on March 15, 2020, from 2 to 4 pm to walk for the cause.
