Yasser Arafat Foundation to Confer Achievement Award

The Yasser Arafat Foundation will host a ceremony at the Ramallah Cultural Palace in the West Bank on November 10 from 6 pm until 7:30 pm, where it will confer the Arafat Achievement Award 2019. The award “aims to encourage serious and exceptional work and to recognize real achievements in national, cultural, social, economic, scientific, or academic areas of work,” according to the foundation’s website. November 10 marks the 15th anniversary of the PLO leader and Palestinian Authority president’s death.
