Israel’s Foreign Minister Sylvan Shalom met late on Wednesday with five leading figures from the Arab world.
He held separate talks with the foreign ministers of Tunisia, Qatar, Oman and Jordan.
He also met King Muhammad VI of Morocco for the second time in a month.

The monarch has reportedly invited Shalom and Nabil Sha’ath, the Palestinian minister for foreign affairs, to hold joint talks in the Moroccan capital Rabat.
Yesterday’s meetings were held in New York where the leaders were gathered to take part in the United Nations General Assembly.
Shalom also met U.S. National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice.
It is understood she told him Israel must take no unilateral steps that are impossible to change.
