Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates will be the guest of honor at the Government Leadership Forum Arabia (GLF), a symposium of Arab governmental and business heads taking place in Cairo on January 24-25.
The forum is an annual Microsoft event in various regions of the world to examine the impact of information technology on citizens. The themes of the upcoming conference will be modernizing government, economic development and education.

The first-ever GLF Arabia will be hosted by Egyptian Prime Minister ‘Atif ‘Ubeid.
Microsoft has affiliates in 16 Middle Eastern regions, including Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
The GLF will take place simultaneously with the Microsoft’s Middle East Developers Conference on January 24-27, also in Cairo.
