Bloody Weekend in Israel

Three Palestinians and two Israelis were killed this weekend in two unrelated incidents.

The Israel Air Force attacked in Gaza City on Saturday night. Apache helicopters fired two missiles at a car in A-‘Saftawi street, Gaza, killing its three passengers. All three were activists in the terror movement Islamic Jihad’s military wing. One of the three, Muhammad Jouda, 23, was head of Islamic Jihad’s military wing in Gaza.

The aerial attack also hit 15 innocent bystanders, including a six-year old child.

In a separate incident two Israeli citizens were shot dead in their car, when two Palestinian terrorists ambushed them south-east of Hebron, inside the Green Line. The two citizens, Eitan Kukoi and Rima Novikov, were a husband and wife on their way to visit friends. Terror organizations Al-A’qsa Martyrs Brigades (the military wing of Arafat’s Fatah party) and the PFLP both took responsibility for the attack.

Also reported during the weekend were the deaths of two terrorists from Islamic Jihad and Hamas. The Islamic Jihad activist blew himself up in front of an Israeli army base in the Gaza Strip, but caused no damage. The Hamas activist died when an explosive device he was assembling blew up in his home.
