BREAKING NEWS…. The pilot of an Israeli charter flight from Mombasa, Kenya to Tel Aviv reported that a missile had been fired at his aircraft, but missed. The Arkia flight has 260 people on board. Passengers apparently calling out from cellphones report pieces of shrapnel hitting the fuselage. There were no injuries to passengers or damage to the aircraft which is due to land at Ben Gurion Airport at approximately noon today. Israeli authorities have grounded all flights world-wide.

In a separate, but apparently related, incident, a car bomb exploded outside the Paradise hotel in Mombasa, killing at least seven and injuring many. The hotel is Israeli- owned and was filled with Israelis.
