A bomb exploded on a number 19 bus in Jerusalem shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday morning. The site of the explosion is only a short distance from the prime minister’s residence. Early reports indicate at least eight dead and many wounded.
The Media Line’s Jerusalem Bureau Chief David Zev Harris, at the scene of the bombing, reported seeing a number of Arabs being detained by Border Police in the area and throughout the city.

All crossing points along the seam that links eastern and western Jerusalem have been closed and roadblocks have been set up throughout the city.
