Dubai distributed monetary assistance yesterday to 238 needy families in the Palestinian refugee camp of Jabaliyya, according to the Palestinian daily Al-Ayyam. This is the eighteenth time the Dubai Council for Support of the Intifada has sent financial assistance as part of a project named “From Family to Family.” The council distributed the money through a charity board in Jabaliyya.

Dubai is not the only Arab country to assist the Palestinian Intifada through charity funds. An article on the Saudi assistance was reported by The Media Line just a few weeks ago. The boards claim the assistance is meant for needy families, yet frequently the money finds its way to funding terror activities.
