The Iranian Ministry of Interior published the results on its internet site on February 25.
The reformists, who won two-thirds of the seats in the last elections four years ago, won only 39 this time.

Independent candidates won 31 seats, and five were taken by representatives of religious minorities.
Another round of elections is still to be held for the 58 remaining seats.
