Israeli Foreign Minister Sylvan Shalom told the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Israel is “not a party” to the cease-fire announced by Palestinian terror groups Fatah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas. Israel, backed by the United States, is demanding a dismantling of the terrorist infrastructures rather than a cease-fire.
