The funerals are taking place on Friday of some of the 10 Israelis killed in a suicide bombing attack in Jerusalem on Thursday.

Doctors say 11 of the wounded remain in serious condition in city hospitals.

Some 50 were wounded in the blast on a bus just a few yards from the prime minister’s official residence.

Both Hamas and a military wing of Yassir Arafat’s Fatah movement say they were behind the attack.

The bomber was a former Palestinian police officer from the Bethlehem area.

Israel says its soldiers entered the Palestinian city early on Friday in a bid to find wanted terrorists.

The leader of the Hizbullah terror organization Hasan Na’srallah is threatening to kidnap more Israelis.

He made the comment during celebrations in Beirut on the return of some 20 Lebanese held in Israeli jails.

Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of the city, many waving the flags of Hizbullah and Iran, which is the main backer of the terror organization.

Na’srallah says Israel must free all its Arab prisoners if it wants information on missing airman Ron Arad.

He says if that does not happen, Israel will face more attacks and kidnappings.

While Na’srallah was speaking in Beirut, Israel was holding an official ceremony marking the return of the bodies of three soldiers kidnapped by Hizbullah in October 2000.

Along with one live civilian, the soldiers were exchanged for 435 Arab prisoners and the bodies of 60 others.

Israel’s military Chief of Staff Moshe Ya’alon says the deal was not a sign of Israeli weakness as claimed by some Arabs, but rather of Israel’s higher moral values.
