The Iranian government has admitted to backing the Lebanese-based terror group Hizbullah.
The admission was made by Iran’s Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi, during an interview with CBS television.

Kharazi explained that Tehran backs Hizbullah because it represents a “desperate and hopeless people.”
Hizbullah has launched at least 10 attacks on Israeli civilians in the last two weeks.
It fired anti-aircraft shells across Israel’s northern border from Lebanon.
There were no reports of injuries.
