Israel’s Industry Ministry has decided to identify with labels Israeli products originating in post-1967 territories.
The decision comes after the European Union insisted it would not allow tax breaks for goods from those areas.

The ministry’s decision has come under fire from Israeli hawks and farming organizations.
They say such a move creates facts on the ground, by differentiating between Israel and post-1967 areas, that will damage Israel’s diplomatic policy. Farmers say it will lead to a major fall in revenue.
