Hamas must be included on international lists of terror organizations, Israeli Foreign Minister Sylvan Shalom told Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi on Tuesday.
Shalom also said the world must fight to prevent Iran’s nuclear armament. He requested the Japanese government condition any economic cooperation with Iran with the latter’s cessation of making enriched uranium and signing of the additional protocol.
Shalom called on Japan, one of the largest contributors to the Palestinian Authority (P.A.) to exercise its influence by pressuring the P.A. into dismantling terror infrastructure and implementing its part of the Road Map.
The Japanese premier offered his condolences over last week’s terror attack in Jerusalem, and added that world terror poses a threat to the whole world.
