Israeli Intelligence: Palestinians blackmailing women to be suicide bombers

Palestinian terror organizations are blackmailing Palestinian women in order to force them into becoming suicide bombers, according to a newly declassified Israeli intelligence report.

While the report does not provide concrete proof of its claims, it does cite the names of Palestinian women and explains how Israel believes the women were recruited.

In many cases the terror organizations, including Yassir ‘Arafat’s own Tanzim militia, use the idea that the woman has been sexually promiscuous as leverage against her, the report suggests.

“Such personal motives have been well exploited by the terrorist organizations when they approach women in order to recruit them for suicide attacks,” the report’s authors state.

A 20-year-old Bethlehem woman now living in hiding was purportedly recruited in the following manner:

Two older women approached her in a bid to recruit her for a suicide bombing. They had been sent by Hindi Al-Mughrabi, the wife of Ahmed Al-Mughrabi who is a senior Tanzim member in the Dehaishe refugee camp, recently arrested by Israel.

The two women also allegedly helped the recruitment efforts of the Palestinian Authority’s Special Forces commander in Bethlehem Rifat Jubraneh.

The women tried to blackmail the 20 year old after she had become involved in an illicit romance.

When the Fatah-Tanzim plan was revealed to the woman’s family they took her into hiding.

The Israeli report suggests Fatah operatives have also deliberately seduced women and then pressured them into becoming terrorists. Those women included two suicide bombers: Andalib Takatka Suleiman and Ayat Al-Ahras.

There have been more than 20 terror attacks carried out by Palestinian women since the violence erupted in September 2000, the Israeli military reports.
