“We turned down the request for a number of reasons, mainly because of the poor security situation in Iraq,” said Tourist and Travel Agency Association Chairman Bashara ‘Sawalha.
‘Sawalha denied rumors that the first Israeli organized trip to Iraq was to take place this coming October in coordination with the Jordanian travel agencies, pointing out such trips will not take place, at least not in the near future.
