The leader of the Israeli opposition Amram Mitzna said categorically that he will not join a national unity government led by Sharon. The article reported that Mitzna is calling for Israeli settlers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip to leave the settlements and to return to Israel. He was also reported as saying, “We have to free ourselves from the nightmare that is Gaza as soon as possible.”
