The Ahmad Abu Rish Martyrs Brigade claims to be a wing of Fatah, the organization headed by Palestinian Authority Chairman Yassir Arafat.

The group issued a poster maintaining that it murdered a soldier when it launched an attack on moshav Yivul on the Egyptian border, yesterday morning. The claim was published in today’s edition of the London daily Asharq Al-Awsat.
Israeli and independent media sources maintain two Palestinian terrorists were killed but there were no Israeli casualties.
