The Palestinian Authority (P.A.) is close to reaching a power-sharing agreement with the Hamas terrorist organization according to Israel Army Radio.
Nabil Sha’ath, the P.A.’s external affairs minister, told the London-based Arabic language newspaper A-Sharq Al Awsat that it is to be a real partnership, not a symbolic one.
Sha’ath has also reached out to the Al-Aq’sa Martyrs Brigades, a terrorist organization answering to Yassir Arafat, that has claimed responsibility for numerous attacks on Israeli civilians. Rejecting demands to disband the group, Sha’ath said he wants to see it return to the fold under the Fatah faction.
