“The interests of the nation and Muslim Ummah will be kept supreme in the present Gulf crisis,” Jamali said, according to the official Pakistani news agency.
Since the U.S. strike on Afghanistan, Karachi has been playing down the significance of Islam, preferring to make statements to the foreign media supporting the American war on terror.
