The Palestinian Authority is seeking the arrests of Israeli leaders including “General Shaul Mofaz,” the country’s defense minister and “General Ya’alon,” the head of the Israel Defense Forces.
The demand was made by the Palestinian representative at the United Nations Na’sir Al-Qidwa.

He was speaking during a U.N. debate about the Israeli-cabinet decision to remove-in-principle Yassir Arafat as an “obstacle” to peace.
In the same debate Israel’s Ambassador Dan Gillerman said Jerusalem only passed a motion in principle that put in writing what most of the world had been saying for some time – that Arafat is an obstacle.
The U.N. condemned the Israeli decision by 133 votes to four, with 15 abstentions.
