German, Lebanese and Israeli experts are checking the wellbeing and identities of hundreds of prisoners whom will be exchanged between Israel and the Hizbullah terror organization on Thursday.
In Israel doctors are examining the 435 prisoners from the Palestinian areas, Lebanon, Egypt and other Arab states.
In Lebanon Israeli civilian Elhanan Tennenbaum is undergoing the same treatment, while what are assumed to be the bodies of three Israeli soldiers are being identified.
Meanwhile, in Germany a team from Israel including the top army chaplains and Israel’s chief pathologist are viewing medical records that identify the three soldiers who were captured by Hizbullah on the Lebanese border more than three years ago.
Thursday’s exchange will take place at a military base outside Cologne under the auspices of the German mediators.
