No details have been made public of a meeting between Red Cross officials and the family of missing Israeli soldier Adi Avitan, nor of the discussions that will take place on Wednesday between the Red Cross and the family of another MIA, Benny Abraham. The issue of the MIAs has vaulted to the headlines following Israel’s return of the bodies of two Hizbullah terrorists killed while attacking Israeli targets and rumors of a prisoner exchange negotiated by German intermediaries.
