Sex Scandal in Kuwait

“Influential people” in the Kuwaiti administration were allegedly involved in a seaboard orgy. This is the unusual leading story Kuwaitis are reading today, June 30, in one of Kuwait’s most respectable dailies, A-Siyasah.

“Last Friday those people organized a party of debauchery and orgy at midnight on Umm Al-Muradim island,” Member of Parliament Jasim Al-Kandari told A-Siyasah.

Al-Kandari said he was relying on eyewitnesses who were close by. He did not say who those “influential people” were, but he described them as “people who do not care for the honor of their religion, nation, and society.”

According to the eyewitnesses, the party took place on a yacht near the shore, and the men were accompanied by Western- and Oriental-looking women.

Al-Kandari called on the state to act according to its responsibilities, and deal with whatever is threatening Kuwait’s moral security.

Kuwaiti Minister of Internal Affairs Nawwaf Al-Ahmad ordered an immediate investigation, and to take appropriate measures against the perpetrators if proven guilty, an informed security source told A-Siyasah.
