The long and arduous wait for a first look at what the Trump proposal for peace between Israel and the Palestinians – or at least its economic side – looks like finally came to fruition at a two-day event in Manama, Bahrain, on June 25 and 26, 2019.

Notably characterized not as a conference, summit, parley or meeting, Team Trump, headed by First-Son-in-Law Jared Kushner, christened the affair an “economic workshop,” setting up the primary viewing of half of the plan – the economic half.

The Media Line’s Executive Producer Felice Friedson and Mideast Bureau Chief Mohammad Al-Kassim were in Manama during the conference, reporting back to the agency for global distribution.
