Hizbullah Chief: 70% Chance of War with Israel This Summer (AUDIO INTERVIEW)

Hizbullah chief Hassan Nasrallah reportedly warned the terror group’s commanders of a 70 percent chance that war would break out with Israel this summer.

Nasrallah has hinted that the Israel Defense Forces had failed to locate and destroy all of Hizbullah’s subterranean tunnels penetrating Israeli territory during Operation Northern Shield, a mission undertaken to achieve this late last year. Jerusalem also fears that Tehran has transferred to its underling advanced technologies to build precision-guided missiles that can strike anywhere in the Jewish state.

Israel has conducted hundreds of air strikes in Syria to destroy Iranian arms manufacturing facilities and weapons convoys destined for Hizbullah in Lebanon.

For its part, Hizbullah has started feeling the effects of US sanctions on the Islamic Republic, as well as diplomatic pressure by Washington on Beirut.

Within this context, The Media Line discussed the prospects of a full-blown conflict with Avi Melamed, Founder & CEO of Inside The Middle East – Intelligence Perspectives Program.
