Gantz’s choice is either a national unity coalition with the Likud party of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, or a so-called minority government that comprises fewer than half of the seats in the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, while relying on outside support to be voted into power, and then remain in power.
